sweet headset! Jun 20, 2008 This is a really nice headset which I would definately recommend. The sound quality is very good and it is comfortable to wear, unless you are a marathon gamer (which I will get to in the next sentance). The only problem with this headset is that after a while it will begin hurting your head a bit where the earpiece and other part is located. I'm not sure if I just have a big head but that seems to be the only problem. Other than this minor setback I highly recommend this microphone.
P.S. While reading through the reveiws I saw alot of people who were obviously dissapointed in the headset. These were giving me mixed fellings about wether i shouuld buy this headset or not. Don't let these frazzle you this headset is 100% worth it.
Nice but Heavy Jun 13, 2008 Bought to use with Halo3 and the unit works very well. Unit is heavy after a couple of hours of gaming....overall good price and great quality.
motorola gaming headset Feb 26, 2008 The motorola gaming headset is junk. One week into usig it and the adapter with the volume setting dials looses it's 3.5mm plug pen.
Don't get it.

Good value, functional headset for Xbox 360 Jan 21, 2008 I used the headset that comes with Xbox 360 to play NBA 2K games and Lost Planet for quite a while. I've used many other Xbox 360 headsets only to stop using them because they have terrible sound quality. Now I won't even play COD4 without my Motorola headset. Not sure why some people say the regular headset that comes with Xbox 360 is better because it is not better or any good at all.
The Motorola headset works much better sound quality, as well as fit and finish. This headset does take time to loosen up though. It's starts out very tight. I have a very big head and wear a XXL motorcycle helmet. After wearing it for 4 or 5 gaming sessions, it has adapted itself to the size and shape of my head. Those people who say that it is too small are just impatient.
The quality of the headset is great. The wires and connectors leading out of the it, specifically the part that connects to the Xbox Controller are some what cheesy. The connect tends to slip out at times but then again so does the regular xbox one.
Nicely priced but a little flawed Dec 25, 2007 This is one of the better looking wired headsets for the XBOX 360 out there. Good design and built, to be expected from Motorola. It does look like those heasets used by NFL coaches and crew on TV so no wonder it is aimed towards armchair football players for the 360.
It does the job adequately. Mine had been used for over a year now and so far had never given me problems. Connection of the product to the 360 controller had always been secure and audio is clear and coherent. The cup envelopes the ear completely so this contributes to better reception.
The bad part is that the headset feels tight on the head. Whether you have a big head or a small head, the headband seems to hug your head rather snugly even at its widest setting.
I bought this one with 2 official 360 wired headsets and this one had outlived the official ones which seem to have a timed self-destruct mechanism. They both stopped working one after the other while this one still continued to work.
This is a great deal at $20 now. I wonder if Motorola had made it wider after alot had compained about it tight skull-crushing fit.
