Two new gangs are turning Capital City into a war zone--The Raiders, who specialise in staging ambushes and striking hard and fast, and The Syndicate, a gang of professional bank robbers who will use any means necessary to obtain their illicit prizes. Needless to say, it's up to you to, literally, drive them out of town. However, that's trickier than it sounds. Plus, you've now got to deal with a rival squad of "heavy-handed" police called the Viper division. Thankfully, you've got a string of vehicles at your disposal (including planes, hovercraft, jet skis, tanks, trains and helicopters) as well as four new recruits in Pursuit Force--Sarah (air support), Gage (high-speed support), Ash (special ops), and Preach (heavy assault). These characters will support and interact with the player, providing assistance and repartee throughout the game. Take on the Capital City underworld solo or engage the four-player wireless mode for multiplayer pursuits. 3 levels of difficulty ESRB Rated RP for Rating Pending

5Best Police game EVER!  Dec 19, 2008
Pursuit Force Extreme Justice is a really awesome game. The graphics are very good, and you have a whole bunch of allies, vehicles and guns. What's really cool is that you can jump from car to car shooting the bad geys out and then take their weapons and their vehicle. Plus you can also ride in a helicopter and shoot from above or on go on foot and fight. Pursuit Force is so cool! I would recommend it to anyone who likes shooter games.

4Great Game  Nov 20, 2008
This game is a tun of fun and i have enjoyed every level i played. The only down side is the turning on sharp turns is very hard to do. The only real good way to do it is to slow down and press the square button and sometimes the enemy gets away. Overall this is probabaly one of the best games out there for the psp. I cant wait to get my hands on the next one.

4Run and Gun and shoot 'em up fun  Mar 08, 2008
Well I decided to give this game a shot and I'm very glad I did.

The story is way over the top and I love it. The voice acting is very funny in a way that it's meant to be serious, but you cant help laugh when the boss is yelling at people to shut up.

The game itself is very action packed and is not supposed to be real by any means. For instance... you can jump from one car to another and if you have your justice meter full, you can also shoot at the other car while enroute to it. There are also many ways they have you play this game.

Car scenes involve chasing a main bad guy while having his cronies trying to stop you. Sometimes you're in a car...sometimes in a boat. Jumping from different vehicles makes it even that much cooler cause sometimes you can get on bikes and jet skis also. Some of the car scenes also involve you flying through traffic with a bad guy strapped to your hood and trying to get him to tell some secrets..hah.

Another mode of play will have you behind a some type of gun, such as a gun mounted in a helicopter or maybe a truck or even just a plain sniper rifle. In this mode basically you just blast everything you can while not dying or having your gun over heat. When your bar reaches max, you can unleash a barrage of rockets. For the sniper mode...you basically follow one of your comrades and keep them safe by pinging bad guys that are in front of them or maybe even locks to open a gate.

There is also a mode where you are on the ground running and gunnin. I didnt like this mode at first, and even though it's still not my favorite part of the game, it's not that bad. The controls are horrible for this part of the game. I basically just run around blasting and sometimes aiming if I get in a groove. But the best thing is to run up to someone and then a button action sequence will happen. Hit a few buttons correctly and you'll take the perp down and get his weapon also. I try to do this a lot since you just start with a pistol most of the time. Get a machine gun or rocket launcher and you're good to go..heh.

One other thing that I really like about this game is that the levels are not that long. So if you just have about 5-10 minutes to play you could probably finish a mission or two. By saying this, I dont mean the game is short either. I'm only 10% through it and I've played quite a few missions.

For a fun action game that isnt to difficult, I would definitely recommend this game.

5Better This Time Around  Feb 10, 2008
Fans of the first Pursuit Force will be very pleased with this new edition, which takes everything that was good about the inaugural effort and -- well, does more of it with better graphics.

I also don't recall if the first game had wireless support -- this one does.

I can't comment on the multi-player modes of this game, but I can say that I am enjoying the heck out of the single-player story game.

Pursuit Force is remembered best for the sequences where you jump from one moving vehicle to another, guns blazing, slow-motion if you have earned "full justice" by your righteous actions.

These sequences are back, but what I'm digging this time around is what seems like a greater variety of missions and activities to occupy me as well. Here one mission will involve a variety of activities, from chase and destroy to gunning from a chopper to engaging in combat on foot.

It's all well done, and the graphics are smoother this time around. Excellent orchestral music and sound effects and fine control to boot.

There are also some new bonus modes to extend the title's play value further, which I haven't tried; I've been having way too much fun with the story mode! I also like the purchasable upgrades; I don't remember these from the first game...

Really, for $30, I have to consider this title a must-purchase for PSP action game fans. This is the most fun I've had with the PSP since LocoRoco...
