10********** Stars!! Really nice flawless keyboard. Oct 12, 2008 I don't know why that first guy gave this a bad review? I love this bluetooth, light weight,
keyboard. I like using the built in mouse pad and you can scroll up/down a page by sliding
your finger lightly on the right side of the mouse pad or just us the arrow keys. It takes the place of my old RF wireless mouse/keyboard. The range is fantastic. More than a 100'!
I like the bright finish, like my PSP3-80. There isn't a Start button and sometimes if you play
a game, you can't use it. The games is looking for the controller that came with your PSP3.
I use this to type on my Mac and it works just fine, even better than my old one. I do wish the mouse pad was a little bigger, but it's ok the way it is. Other than that, nice going Logictech.
Can't wait for the next keyboard, with illuminated keys?
Does not support multiple pairings. You have to repair every time. Oct 09, 2008 The keyboard is fine if you only want to use it with one machine at a time, but it really sucks if you want to make good use of it by pairing with more than one machine. I bought this to use as a part time ps3 keyboard and a main keyboard for my PC. The problem is you have to hit the factory reset button to pair the keyboard with a computer. It does not remember previous pairing. because of this it is worthless as a multi PC device. In both cases you have to go into a setup menu, using a different input device until you get to a menu that asks you to type in a pass code. This is not too bad on the ps3 because I always have a wireless controller handy, but for a PC it really really sucks. I was hoping to get rid of my other keyboard, now I have to keep it or at least a corded mouse around in order to use this keyboard. What good is a wireless input device if it only works if you have a wired input device plugged in. Not at all worth the 60 dollars I paid plus another 22 dollars for a blue tooth usb adapter. For me the real value was having one cordless keyboard for two machines. This device sucks for that. I'll still probably use it but it will end up wasting a day of my life in setup menus before it finds its way into a land fill. Not happy at all.
I should also note that the instructions provided with this device are an embarrassment to logitec. Extremely tiny print and no valuable content at all. They do not even properly document the ps3 menu names. The following sentence is better than the lousy docs provided. Put batteries in, turn on, press reset button on bottom to make discoverable, then navagate ps3 menu system to pair up the device.
Functional Keyboard Oct 04, 2008 Pairing could have been a little easier, but worked fine after initial setup. Keyboard is thin, but good fit & finish; keys have a nice feel to them. In web browser mode, using the keyboard lets you input text directly into the page instead of using that pesky on-screen letter box, although it still pops up when sending messages over the PSN. Batteries have lasted for several months despite the keyboard being left on. Touch Pad is functional, but a little touchy...haven't looked to see if there's a setting to adjust this. Scroll bar works well too.
Only real drawbacks are a lack of R3 and L3 buttons and a PS button. That means that if you're using the PS3 to surf the net, you still need the regular controller handy to zoom in/out and turn the PS3 on and off from the comfort of the couch.
Not fully satisfied.. Sep 29, 2008 I had this connected to my PS3 so i can have easier time typing text and surf the net on the very limited PS3 browser. The built-in mouse pad was main feature that sold me on this product however there are still some limitations. The other PS3 buttons are not mapped on the keyboard which to me are important to have a good browsing experience. Zooming in and out really helped specially on my 52" HDTV and this keyboard doesn't have those buttons so i still have the PS3 gamepad with me to set the desired zoomed window view on my screen. Also the overall feel of the keyboard seems cheap for the price compared to a $30 USB laser mouse/keyboard i bought at Walmart. Also, it takes more effort for me if i want to use this keyboard on my laptop which i also have connected to my TV. I have to go in the laptop and have in sync before i can use it. The USB set-up i had before was easier where i just unplugged the USB dongle and connect it to my laptop coming from the PS3 and i'm done. Overall this keyboard works fine if you just use it for the PS3 but for my needs which require more flexibilty for my PC there are other options which work better, easier and cheaper. If not for the 50% off the price i got for this i would have opted for the USB version (Logitech Mediaboard)

Solid Keyboard for PS3 Sep 25, 2008 This keyboard is priceless when trying to surf the web on the PS3. In addition, any time you need to type letters this keyboard (or any usb keyboard for that matter) blows away using the onscreen keyboard and PS3 controller. The keys are very much like a laptop keyboard. If you are used to laptops, you won't have nay issues.
This keyboard has a nice scrolling trackpad and an on-off switch to conserver energy. It is Blutooth enabled and therefore wireless.
Its sheen matches the PS3 perfectly.
