Just great Aug 13, 2008 I bought this to play Racing games on my PC (being i'm use to playing them on the PS1 not on a keyboard, yea last console I've had was a ps1!). It's a great controller, first gamepad i've ever purchased and probably the last for awhile because this thing feels solid. My windows XP detected it immediately and had me racing in seconds after some button binding. The controller also feels very comfortable to hold, whatever material they used on the back has a soft feel to it and the overall layout is perfect. All around a great pad, can't go wrong with this one, looks sharp as well!
4 out of 5 Jun 26, 2008 The software isn't the best but the joy itself seems durable and long lasting. worth 19 not 29$

Very Goof` Jun 06, 2008 I really recomend this since I am an alienware fan and I have a pc and a Play Station 2. With this controller you can connect it to you PS2 or your pc via USB.

Interesting Jan 04, 2008 I first purchased this product as a spare controller for my ps2 thinking maybe I'll use it for computer games also. OK the computer game thing never turned out, I don't play computer games. My friend has a PS3 so we figured we'd try this controller out on it using the USB port. Playing COD4, all the controls worked like a dream except the right analog stick. For some reason the directions were all out of whack. Don't get me wrong I was still able to come in 2nd shooting everyone in the knees.

all depends on how it's used Dec 15, 2007 I gave this controller a 4 out of 5 stars because I haven't had a problem with it, but then again I only use it for my ps2.
As far a using it for the ps2 system it works excellent and you probably wont find anything better. The control handle is a bit thicker than the normal ps2 controller and gives it a more steady feel in the hands. You may not really notice it much if at all but the feeling of it will feel much better than other ps2 controllers.
Another great feature on this controller is the option of switching the joystick tops, or grips from the standard round ps2 style to the concave type the microsoft did with there controllers. I prefer the concave style so my thumbs are sitting nice and steady of the joysticks instead of constantly adjusting them to the round tops but that is just me.
The D-pad on the alienware controller here is much better than standard ps2 controllers or even some other off brand company controller because instead of the d-pad being 4 individual buttons that can be irritating to use, if you were to use them, is just a single pad that tilts but contains the outlines of the original so its like the standard controller but not. This may not be a serious deal to most people but if you were playing old playstation games on your ps2 like I tend to do than this controller would work wonders for you.
I haven't done much of computer game playing with this controller but from what I did use this controller for I can tell you that it is much better at just being a ps2 controller than a pc controller. It can't just be plugged into the computer and be used and depending on the game it might not even work. The usb connector was pretty unstable and shook loose from the port a few times for me. I don't really know if it was just me or not but I didn't really have much luck with this on the pc but if your looking for a new ps2 controller than this would be a good way to go.
Now for all that your getting this is a pretty decent controller for just around $25 and it comes in 4 colors. I personally got the blue and I really didn't want it cause, not to say the blue it bad, the blue lights just irritate me but thats just me. Of my personally opinion the black or green ones would be nice for anyone but that is just me. Hope I was able to help some people here with this review.
