Super Sturdy and Comfortable Jan 07, 2009 Once I put my PSP into this case I never took it out.....(well, except to change out the games).
Super durable, makes the PSP comfortable to hold and keeps your screen from getting scratched. The case makes it so the PSP will stand up on its own as well. I would recommend everyone owning a PSP buy this!!
Perfect for PSP 2000 Dec 16, 2008 All I wanted was a sturdy case to protect my PSP2000 and this is it. Nothing more and nothing less. Perfect snugy fit for PSP 2000. Luckly I had this case before I dropped by PSP on stairs. No scratch or dent the PSP is safe and sound. It has rubber grips inside that protects PSP from any dings and drops. You can even charge it while in the case. Screen shield is a life saver for air travel, if any one drops any thing while playing your PSP every thing is fully protected. Looks awesome it has enough space to hold some games too. I love this case and amazon thanksgiving sale.
It's fine... Nov 18, 2008 Maybe it isn't the best case for the PSP but it works for what I need: Protection. I don't like the open/close system, it seems unsafe to me but until this moment it has worked. The only thing I like is that I can play with my PSP in the case, so the LCD screen is always protected and my PSP doesn't get dirty out of use, and I feel the console more bulky and handy because the slim model (2000) is too slim to me, but that is a subjective matter.
Nice case but price could be better Oct 18, 2008 I've had this product for over 4 months now, and haven't had a problem with it. I bought it for its practicality, and not for its looks... no bling here. This case may not look as nice as the one from LogiCase, but I still prefer it due to the convenience of having 2 games handy so that I don't have to fiddle with a separate case in order reach my favorite games/movies. I love the plastic piece that protects the screen and haven't had any issues with the locking mechanism. I dropped it twice now, and the case kept it from falling out and getting damaged. Someone complained that it was too bulky, but I like it because I have big hands making it more comfortable for me to use my PSP while it's in the case.
Bottom line is that if you're looking to purchase something for its looks, chances are that it's going to be either expensive, or impractical, or maybe even both. I prefer convenience and practicality over bling any time. Read reviews, compare features & prices, but buy what is best for you and meets your needs. I just bought another limited edition PSP, so I'm ordering another one of these to help protect it... I just wish the price would drop.
Good for what it's made for Aug 04, 2008 Bought the travel case after not having anything to protect the psp on my commute. It's okay... but probably not the best out there. It does a good job at keeping the psp from getting scratched or dinged up while in my laptop bag - and it is good to be able to not have to have the psp sitting out in the open on my desk while charging it. I can charge it while it's in the case. Now, the only gripes I have about it are that:
1. Unless I'm wrong and just haven't found out how, you have to remove the psp from the case in order to change the disc. Kind of stinks to do this, because I hate fingerprints, and I usually end up getting them all over the screen while changing the game, then I have to clean it, etc. Just a pain.
2. I have big hands, and while playing the psp, the lid sometimes eithere rests on my fingers, or pinches my fingers. The "feet" on the case also rub on my third fingers while holding the psp, and it makes for an uncomfortable playing experience.
It's a good case for protecting the psp, but I'm sure for the money you can find something else that is better.
