5Burnout Revenge   Oct 31, 2008
drive around the world and take them down as you go to achieve highest ranking! Great LIVE game!

4Good Racing Mix!  Sep 08, 2008
From the crashes to the different races this game is very good. This game has an awesome framrate. Its blinding speed makes you feel like you are flying. With the crash mode which is one of my favorites and a good mix of racing types i reccommend this for a purchase.

5Great game, a must have title for your 360 library  Jun 27, 2008
There is nothing that can go wrong in my day that a couple of hours of Burnout Revenge can't fix. There's nothing like slamming a rival car into a bridge support or oncoming traffic after a long day at work.

Being a fan of the racing genre and having played literally hundreds of hours of Burnout 3, I figured that Burnout Revenge was a must-have game. New crash events and good online play make an already good title even better in Burnout Revenge. Driving Simulators are nice, but don't always make for the most exciting gaming experience. Let's face it, why would I want to drive a stock Hyundai Tuscani in a game when I have one in my garage? Burnout Revenge actually rewards you for driving that would land you in jail for years if you tried it in real life. If "traffic checking", or ramming drone cars just driving from point A from point B wasn't enough, 100 crash events were added just to see how much dollar damage you can do on the mean streets.

Work your way up the Revenge ranks, from Harmless to Elite, by earning medals in the hundreds of events. If that gets boring, take it online for more serious fun (possible oxymoron, I know). Other players will quickly become your "Revenge Rivals" once you take them down, or vice versa. Here's a cool feature, everytime you see that player online from now on, they will show up as your rival, and even tracks consecutive takedowns you have against that player (or that they have on you). I have a lot of rivals on my friends list. Ah, bragging rights.

Expect to spend some serious time playing this game before seeing any significant rewards, such as good unlockables or achievements. Those who like to pick up a game for two or three days just to unlock a big chunk of achievement points before returning it to the video store are not going to fully appreciate this game. In fact the XBox Live gamerscore average at the time of this review is about 91/1000 points. Play for awhile, though, and points will start to come in bunches.

If I could rate Burnout Revenge with 4 1/2 stars, I probably would. It's not perfect. That annoying, but enthusiast DJ is back to tell you about all the exciting things that are going on. The cars are not upgradable, nor do they have licensing to use real cars, but that's never been a huge issue with the Burnout series, in my opinion. Also, the crash cinematics, while impressive, maybe even groundbreaking, get tiresome after a few hours of play.

My recommendation? Buy, don't rent, this game (with the recent release of Burnout Paradise, the price is manageable), turn the DJ SFX to 0, create your own soundtrack, and have hours of fun with this one.

5total destruction/hyper turbo speed/chaos = awsome  May 18, 2008
This is a very fun game its like full auto but this one don't have guns and you can't rewind, but this is a fun game. I really don't care whitch one is better cause both burnout revenge and full auto are awsome raceing games and there both realistic looking to, this game is a fast speed takedown once you start a match your boost is slightly charged but to get full boost you have to hit the other vehicles and they will be all over the place once you hit them from behind the vehicles will be charged so fast up front and crash or fly in the air thats funny but this is a great game. This is more improved then on xbox and ps2 better grapic and gameplay, but the thing i like more about full auto that is you can use your guns, you can rewind, the turbo boost is more highly effective looking, but other then that there both very great games.
